Salomon Skis

Designed by skiers for skiers to deliver more performance and more fun, from freeskiing to carving to racing.

Salomon Rocker 2

rocker2

Our newest powder ski is our most playful and 'surfy' ski yet. Twin rocker shape specific to powder, and an innovative construction using honeycomb with abs reinforced frame at the extremities reduces swing weight for even easier floatation and pivoting. Amazingly, the regular camber under foot, short classic sidecut and 26m radius enable solid performance on harder snow, so getting back to the lift is fun instead of frightening.

Joystick Pep Adjustable Poles

Sometimes Pep Fujas goes so big that he's an inch or two shorter after stomping the landing. That's why Joystick made him the Pep Adjustable Ski Pole so he didn't need new ones after every session. You probably don't need the Pep's height adjustable shaft for that reason, but if you spend much time hiking or skinning in the backcountry you could probably use a shortened pole for the uphill.

Joystick Spicolli Poles

As you wait for the delivery boy to bring a pizza to your smoky van at the resort base, why not take some laps with the Joystick Spicolli Ski Pole helping to keep you balanced? Just let your roach-reeking hand clutch the soft, pre-shaped rubber grip, and, if that’s too hard at this juncture, you can use the adjustable nylon wrist strap to keep it secured to your wrist. As you haphazardly navigate through the brain fog, the aluminum shaft keeps you upright while the Spicolli checkered graphic diverts the ski patrol’s attention from your crimson-colored eyes .

Line Skis

Line Mr. Pollard's Opus

POWDER SKIS FROM THE FUTURE
Opus is defined as ”A great work of art or literature, especially the greatest single work of an artist”. In Eric’s case, his 2012 Line Opus ski was developed with over 13 years of progressing powder skiing & innovative ski designs with Line.

As Eric says - “Anyone can make a really fat ski float in powder, but making it also versatile enough to rip firm snow is where they all fall short.” The Line Opus ski is a breakthrough in versatility within the powder ski category. We actually lowered the Early Rise™ tip geometry enabling it to PLANE INSTEAD OF PLOW in the powder. We also reduced the length of Early Taper™ putting 20% more Active Edge™ length in contact with the snow than others in it’s class, for MORE GRIP & LESS SLIP. This better floating tip geometry allowed us to actually reduce the width to 118mm for increased quickness, reduced weight and a skiing experience that is as ahead of it’s time as the skier that developed it.

Line Sir Francis Bacon

POLLARD'S ONE SKI QUIVER
The 2012 Line Sir Francis Bacon ski has been completely re-designed by Eric for a level of quickness & versatility previously considered impossible in this width, yet with enough float to be worthy of Pollard’s name. Its new break through lower Early Rise™ tip geometry PLANES INSTEAD OF PLOWS in the pow, while the length of Early Taper™ has actually been reduced vs. past years to put much more Active Edge™ length in contact with the snow for MORE GRIP & LESS SLIP. The Bacon’s new smooth reliable flex pattern feels like an extension of your feet, literally carving on a dime as well as it can float in the powder. This is the next level of Pollard approved fun, for everywhere on the mountain.

Line Prophet 98

CARVE IT. FLOAT IT. CONQUER IT ALL
Your concerns for going wider than 90mm will be forgotten after your first turn on the totally new 2012 Line Prophet 98 skis. The subtle Early Rise™ provides extra float & easier turn initiation on the hard pack while it’s NEW! Capwall™ construction provides the high speed stability and lively responsive edge feel normally only found on narrower skis. Enjoy!

Burton Snowboards

Burton Process Flying V

Riding the Burton Process Flying V™ is like eating your favorite food. It’s got all the ingredients—the tasty traction of Frostbite Edges, succulent cushioning of Smooth Ride™, and the pop of Jumper Cables. And now it’s even more capable with the camber/rocker combo of Flying V to complement its soft, well-rounded palate. The only difference is that this board will be just as good on day 100 as it was on day one thanks to Infinite Ride™, whereas the food will get gross in less than a week.

Burton Sherlock

If fresh landings and untapped zones make you drool on your pillow lines, the critically-acclaimed Burton Sherlock should stack up as your dream ride. The nuts and bolts of what's inside start with Flying V™ and Side Effects for float and control on natural features, Frostbite Edges for billy goat grip, and Smooth Ride™ dampening to save the legs for one last shot. Built for riders like Mikey Rencz and Kim Rune Hansen who don't hesitate to pick their own line, this is the one for every mission imaginable.

Burton Custom Flying V

The addition of Squeezebox to the Burton Custom Flying V™ changes the game completely for riders like Mikkel Bang and Mads Jonsson. The thinner core underfoot transitions to thicker, more powerful areas between and outside your feet to optimize pop, snap and handling. Considering this Flying V is already Springloaded with rocker float and camber stability, along with the electrified edge control of Lightning Bolts and Frostbite, it’s advisable you keep this board stored outside.

Armada Skis

Armada JJ

If you simply want the best back and sidecountry ski available, the JJ is without question the ski for you. Patented EST Freeride Rocker and the UltraLight core combine to produce the most balanced big ski on the market. It handles blower pow with ease, transitions to busted crud without shifting gears, and it will carve a turn that will leave you speechless.

Armada AK JJ

New for 11/12 is the AK JJ… an amped up version of the traditional JJ. Offered in 195, the AK JJ has a longer turning radius and is slightly stiffer than the traditional JJ. This ski is ready to charge big lines in Alaska or at your home hill.

Armada TST

When Travis Steeger’s “Sponsor Me” video made the rounds in the office at Armada, it was met with unanimous acclaim. It stars a skier with undeniable skill, an ear to ear smile, and a contagious love for skiing and snow. Watching it provides the viewer with a palpable connection to Travis, his love of skiing, and his desire to explore the mountains and make turns wherever possible. Travis was only starting this exploration in skiing when his life was tragically cut short. Yet in this minimal time his energy and desire to explore helped shape this ski.

The TST is an all-mountain/big-mountain tool designed to let you explore the entire mountain; air the biggest cliffs, ski the deepest pow, and straight-line the steepest lines. With Armada’s Patented EST All Mountain Rocker that boasts a progressive tip rocker and no tail rocker, there isn’t a turn or jump on the mountain the TST can’t
make. This is the ski Travis was asking us to make for his every day ski at his home mountain of Whitewater BC. So next time you find yourself in the middle of a great day, or on a perfect run, or are just surrounded by all your friends; un-zip your coat, smile from ear to ear, and giv’er for Travis. A portion of the proceeds of this ski are donated to Travis Steeger’s Memorial Fund and the “Avalanche Awareness Beyond the Boundaries Society”, which provides free avalanche skills training courses for youth.
