K2 Skis

45 years ago, K2 was born as America's ski company on Vashon Island in Washington State's Puget Sound. Renamed in 2003 as K2 Sports, the company today is an international portfolio of 16 world renowned brands and over 40 consumer product categories. Our brands and businesses are world renowned as leaders in design, production, and sales and marketing. Driven by innovation and a passion for the sports enthusiast looking for unique and authentic lifestyle experiences, we market snowboard, snowshoe, bike, in-line skate, alpine, telemark/Nordic ski equipment, apparel and accessories. K2 Sports is what happens when fun meets science and technology.

K2 Hellbent

The twin tip that started the “Fat Twin” revolution gets even fatter in 2010-11. The HellBent’s 132mm waist and Powder Rocker Technology provides unrivaled floatation in the deepest conditions and makes switch and regular pow landings feel like another lap through the park. Not just a 100% pow ski, the K2 HellBent incorporates enough camber and sidecut underfoot to give you the ability to charge in any snow condition on your way back to the lift.

K2 Obsethed

For 2010-11 Seth Morrison incorporated more Rocker on a new wider 117 mm chassis to create the ultimate tool to charge big mountains and backcountry zones, yet versatile enough (like his previous Pro Models) to ski in the resort. The new Powder Rocker design in the K2 ObSETHed eliminates tip dive and breaks through crud, crusts and chopped up conditions. Add to this Factory Team ski Progressive Sidecut and camber underfoot and you have a twin tip ski perfect for any conditions or terrain. That’s Seth looking out for the hard charging masses!

K2 Pontoon

Inspired by innovative thinker Shane McConkey, the K2 Pontoon has revolutionized the ski industry. Tip and tail Powder Rocker combined with a pintail design give it a very “surfy” turn shape, and make it virtually impossible to submerge the tips. Further, it planes immediately and turns on a dime, allowing you to ski tight trees at slow speeds, or, with a stiffer tail in 2010-11, the Pontoon will straight-line 60 mph powder runs with confidence. As such, it boasts the broadest performance range of any ski we’ve ever known: it can turn an intermediate into a powder addict in one short run and satiate hard-charging skiers like McConkey all season long.
