Our Story
Akta MTB was founded by riders who left the corporate side of the mountain bike industry to return to what matters: passion, purpose, and better gear. Based in Vancouver, we design premium MTB apparel that’s built to perform, obsessing over every detail and driven by real-world feedback from our athletes. We’re here to build more than a product — we’re building a brand that gives back to the riding community and stays true to the trail.
Sustainability Commitment
Let’s be real — the most sustainable option would’ve been not starting another mountain bike clothing brand at all. But we saw a chance to do things differently, and we took it.
From day one, sustainability has been a core part of our mission. As a rider-owned startup, we set ambitious goals: to use 100% post-consumer recycled, bluesign®-approved fabrics across our entire line. We didn’t quite hit that mark — but we came close, and we’re proud of the progress.
