#2. 'Tap & Pedal' Tour

Explore local Craft Breweries
This city tour is an introduction to Kelowna and some of it’s up and coming neighborhoods in the downtown core: Pandosy Village, Abbott Street, Cawston Avenue and the near North End. We will pedal through City Park, Downtown waterfront, the industrial area in transition and take a scoot up Knox Mountain. Upon departing our Pandosy Village tour office we pedal south to the Greenway and circle around to The Eco Centre. One Bridge and one tunnel keep us highway free and safe. The tour includes sights and sounds of Kelowna past, present, and future prospects.

And of course, we take a “pause for the cause” and learn about Kelowna’s growing craft beer cottage industry.

#3. 'Vineyards and Views' Tour

Our trip departs Pandosy village and winds south along the lakeshore cycle corridor past several beaches affording great lake views. We turn east and enter the “Greenway” recreational pathway following the shaded Mission Creek and climb up to South-east Kelowna. The pastoral countryside is dotted with amazing vistas and several local entrepreneurs getting back to nature! From a selection of local wineries, we will make three stops to meet artisan winemakers who will share their stories and wine. The tour narration includes interesting local geography, history and the future of the wine industry.

We wind our way down to the lakeshore via the upper mission neighborhoods and return to the Freshair eBike tour office.

#4. 'Town & Country' Tour

This is our signature tour that provides an overview of the unique interwoven urban and rural Kelowna lifestyle. Nature is just around the corner. We depart from Pandosy village and pedal downtown on the Abbott Bike path amidst Heritage Homes, through City Park checking out the city sights, the cultural district and Knox Mountain, Tech Towers. After a pastry and coffee break, we connect the Mission Greenway along the edge of town. A short sprint down Springfield and we make a climb to South- East Kelowna take in the beauty of the rolling countryside. Fruit stands, vineyards and horse paddocks abound. The tour will include awesome lake vistas from the Kettle Valley neighborhood and our return through the Mission community to the Fresh Air eBike Tour Office.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)


Booking:   Do I have to book a tour ahead of time?

Yes, we do advise that you book ahead as space is limited. Our online booking system cuts off 24 hours prior to departure. If you are booking last minute, you are welcome to try your luck. Within the 24 hour window, please contact us by email or phone to check availability. There may not be space available or a tour may not be running that day.


Weather:    What if it Rains?

The Kelowna is located in a climatic rain shadow, so we typically experience dry and sunny weather, but on occasion, there are rain showers. In the event of rain, we provide light ponchos to make your ride comfortable. If a heavy downpour is in effect 2 hours prior to the tour start, we will cancel the ride and attempt to reschedule your tour. If we cannot accommodate you we will issue a refund.



Cancellation Policy: What if I have to change my tour booking?

We want everyone to experience the fun of our eBike guided tour. If for any reason you need to change or cancel, just contact us 24 hours prior to the start of your tour and we will attempt to reschedule you. Email or call us directly. The more notice you give us, the better. If you cannot reschedule, we will gladly refund your fee. Within 24 hours of your tour, we will not be able to issue a refund.


Start/Finish Location: All tours originate and finish at Fresh Air Concept store in Pandosy Village, 15 blocks south of downtown Kelowna and 2 blocks from Lake Okanagan. 555 Groves Avenue, Kelowna V1Y 4Y8


Arrival Time: When should I arrive?

Please arrive a minimum of 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure. This time will allow us to ensure a proper fit of your eBike and helmet. This will also give you time to do a test ride and get familiar with your eBike.


Children: Can I bring children on the tour?

Children 13 years of age and up are welcome on the tour. If you have younger children, we recommend you call to book a private family tour.


Minimum Group Size: Is there a minimum Number of riders required for Booking?

We want to accommodate all those who want to ride with us, we would ideally like to have groups to be at minimum 2 people. If you book as an individual, we may request to reschedule you to another time. It is our aim to get you out and experience a fun Kelowna group tour. If you cannot reschedule, we will still take you out on your own.


 Parking: Where do I Park?

There is plenty of metered street parking close by. Where possible, we will assist you to get a convenient spot.

eBikes: What kind of bicycles do you use?

Our bike fleet features the Specialized Turbo Vado city bikes, which offers an upright riding position which is ideal for sightseeing. By combining the best of a 10 speed and Electric powered pedal assist technology, you get a smooth and lightweight ride to make your tour a breeze. You choose as much of the pedal assist power as you like to augment your ride.


Are You Experienced: What If I haven’t biked in many Years?

No problem! The eBike operates just like a typical bicycle and the tour guide will set a casual pace. We advise that riders need to be in moderate shape.

That’s why we call the eBike “ the great equalizer”, so people of varying abilities can ride together as a group.


Helmets: Do I have to wear a helmet?

It is the law in British Columbia that all cyclists, including adults, must wear a helmet. Helmets will be provided, although you may wear your own helmet if you choose. Better safe than sorry!
