Well, here we go—what a weekend!

Toronto keeps winning, Edmonton was losing (which makes me feel pretty great). Sure, they won last night—and I’ve already had a bunch of texts saying they’re winning the Cup again after just one win. Gotta love the optimism! But seriously, the weather has been incredible. We’re getting steady snow in the Okanagan—SilverStar and Big White are adding up nicely. At the same time, biking in town is already picking up. The street sweepers are out—believe it or not—and things are looking really good for early spring rides.

Amie and I actually snuck away for a bit—we were in Vancouver and Whistler for the Arc'teryx Backcountry Camp. While we were there, we got a behind-the-scenes tour of the Arc’teryx factory in Vancouver. Let me tell you—it’s phenomenal. The precision, the attention to detail, the quality control—it’s next level. Unfortunately, we had to sign our lives away, so no photos... but we’ve got some awesome stuff to share with you soon. We also got to ski Whistler for a day—no fresh snow like we’ve had here at home, but we did get some sunshine. And by the sounds of it, there’s more snow on the way in the Okanagan, so get ready for another awesome weekend.
