This year was the 62nd Annual Across the Lake Swim held here in Okanagan Lake. And what a day it was! There was a record breaking 450 entrants this year, the lake was a warm 20 degrees, the wind was calm (mostly...), and the crowd was smiling.

We are always pumped to be a part of this event and want to thank all of the sponsors, entrants, volunteersand the Across the Lake Swim Society.

Fresh Air Concept is proud to be the official Tri shop of the Pushor Mitchell Apple Triathlon. 

The Fresh Air team has been supporting athletes of all types for over 19 years with a huge selection of triathlon gear in the stores and online.

This is a huge event for Kelowna, even if you are not participating in the triathlon.  It is a great event for spectators, and there are numerous product displays and things to do for everyone. 

The Apple Triathlon is also a perfect way to start your racing journey with their "Try-a-Tri" and events for every skill level from beginner to elite.

Your race packages will again be available at for pickup at the Fresh Air Concept store in the Mission, 555 Groves Ave, in the 2 days before the race. You can pick up your race package on:

Your race package will include your race day waiver, souvenir towel, numbered cap, and other goodies. YOU MUST BRING YOUR SIGNED WAIVER TO THE TIMING CHIP PICK UP TABLE ON RACE DAY MORNING NEXT TO THE PARKING LOT IN CITY PARK. YOU CANNOT RACE WITHOUT A SIGNED WAIVER. All waivers must be signed by the person racing. On race morning, you will trade your signed waiver for a race chip.

It was an awesome day for the 2010 Interior Road RAce Serise Mid Summer 8K Race. The sun was out, there was not wind....yet, and the tempurature was a perfect 23 degrees. 200 runners from around the valley participated in this annual event and showed us why this is such a great race.
