Engineered for Speed, Designed for Comfort
Founded in 1976, ASSOS has led the evolution of performance-focused cycling apparel with advanced fabrics and precision-driven design for men and women. For a complete setup, pair premium cycling apparel with a professional bike fit and regular bike servicing from the expert team at Fresh Air Kelowna.
Innovation You Can Feel on Every Ride
ASSOS doesn’t play it safe. They experiment with exclusive fabrics and new construction methods to create cycling apparel that feels faster, cooler, and more supportive on longer rides. Standouts include the packable sV emergency reflective half gilet and the EQUIPE line’s built-in Diffusor ventilation design, both made to boost performance when it matters. Keep your setup dialled with regular bike maintenance and a quick bike tune-up before the next long one.
Cycling Apparel That Performs Like Equipment
For more than 44 years, ASSOS has treated cycling apparel like performance equipment. With 25 patents and gear worn to over 400 Olympic and World Championship medals, their process is famously relentless: Destroy. Reset. Improve. They develop advanced textiles, push prototypes hard with WorldTour riders, then refine designs over seasons until the fit and feel are exactly right. The result is cycling gear that’s obsessively comfortable, highly technical, and built with real precision.
Built with Pros, Made for Your Miles
Since 1978, ASSOS has taken a “try it, test it, improve it” approach to cycling apparel. A lot of that happens through WERKSMANNSCHAFT, their in-house development and testing program, where new ideas get built, ridden hard, and refined before they ever hit the shop floor.
WERKSMANNSCHAFT ASSOS Creative Design Centre (ACDC) is their core crew.
It’s a selected mix of riders, designers, and engineers who take a concept from first sketch to finished product, then keep tweaking until the fit, feel, and function all line up.
WERKSMANNSCHAFT Pro is where things get serious.
ASSOS works with federations and WorldTour teams, including Team Qhubeka ASSOS, to push prototypes in demanding race conditions. That feedback loop helps sharpen performance and durability, so the cycling gear you buy is built on lessons learned at full speed.
