The votes are in. Fresh Air took Gold for Sport/Recreation Store and Silver for Bicycle Shop in the 2026 KelownaNow Best of Kelowna awards. We're grateful, and a little surprised. Kelowna has no shortage of great shops to choose from.

For those keeping score: the Gold in Sport/Recreation Store means our sports clothing, sports gear, and broader outdoor lineup earned the top spot in the city. The Silver for Bicycle Shop puts us second in a category we care about a lot, given how much Kelowna rides.

From electric bikes and mountain bike builds to road bike fittings and bike repair, we've been at this since 1981. This community has grown into one of the best riding cities in the country, and we've tried to keep up with it. Awards like these tell us we're doing okay.
