Good morning, Kelowna!

Nice to finally have a quiet day after the long weekend—between the travel, chores, and activities, it’s been non-stop. But how about those mountain bike trails right now!? We snuck in a ride at Gillard, and the trails were absolutely prime. With all the off-and-on rain over the weekend (and more in the forecast), it’s the perfect time to get out for a ride. Trust me, conditions are dialed. I’ll be honest—while Amie was away with the kids, I had a solo weekend. A bit of mountain biking, Giro d’Italia, and playoff hockey—perfect combo. Of course, Amie made good use of her car time on the drive back. She came home with a list of chores so long I didn’t stop moving from 8 AM to 5 PM… but hey, we’re caught up now, so hopefully that’s it for the season!

In the shop right now: events and more events.

  • Across the Lake Swim clinics start June 15th.
    Water’s still warming up, but if you need goggles, wetsuits, or demos, come see us ahead of time.

  • Wetsuit demos will be happening bright and early—7:00 AM, we’ll be there with smiles on!

  • This weekend: Armstrong Century Ride
    (If you're not signed up, come cheer folks on!)

  • And don’t miss the YMCA Strong Kids event on June 2nd

    • Now in its 17th year

    • New venue at Stuart Park

    • Kids Zone, Food Trucks, Junior Spin Bikes

    • 100% in support of the YMCA’s youth programs
