Fresh Air Mini Vlog 18: SilverStar Bike Park Opening Early + Big Weekend Events in Kelowna

Alright Okanagan—summer is officially here! We don’t want to jinx it… but we’ve had a few solid days of sunshine, and now we’ve got the best news ever: SilverStar Bike Park is opening a full week early for a bonus weekend! To give you the full scoop, we’ve got Tom from SilverStar here to share what’s coming:

Hey everyone, it’s Tom from SilverStar Bike Park! We’re opening June 15th for a special bonus weekend—come ride early and kick off your summer right! Here’s what’s new at the mountain:

• Two new eateries in the village—perfect for post-ride bites

• Once we open for the season the following weekend, we’ll have live music every Saturday to keep the good vibes going

• Some of your favourite trails are getting refreshed, so come check out the new tweaks

• New bike school programs are launching—including the She Sends Program on Wednesdays and Sundays.

  • Heads up: Wednesday sessions are already sold out for July, but there are a few spots left in August—sign up soon to level up your skills!

And for all the dirt jumpers out there—we’ve added two brand new airbags this year. Come up Friday nights, dial in those no-handers and can-cans on the bags, then take it to dirt in the park!
